SITUATION: The Melt is a new grilled cheese chain in the Bay Area that encourages consumers to pre-order via smart phones. Once an order is placed, the customer goes to any Melt location, places the QR Code mailed to his phone over a scanner, and picks up his freshly-made food in about a minute – all without waiting on line.SOLUTION: A range of fun, friendly executions that introduce the chain and demonstrate how patrons can skip the line when ordering via smartphone.
